Smoke rises after serial bomb blasts took place at the venue of Narendra Modis Hunkar rally in Patna.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today telephoned BJP President Rajnath Singh and said the state government would investigate the series of bomb blasts before Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi's rally in Patna.
"Nitish Kumar telephoned Rajnath Singh and assured him that the state government will take the investigations to a logical conclusion," sources close to the Chief Minister said.
Mr Singh was present at the 'hunkar rally' which was addressed by the party's Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.
BJP patriarch L K Advani also spoke to Mr Kumar over phone.
Five persons were killed and at least 80 injured in seven blasts that took place at the railway station and around the Gandhi Maidan, the venue of the rally.
