A Class 10 student was burnt alive allegedly by a man who had been harassing his sister in Andhra Pradesh's Bapatla district.
Amarnath, 15, named three people including someone called "Venky" while he was being taken to the hospital in an ambulance.
The 15-year-old teen was burnt alive after petrol was poured on him, his family alleged.
He died at the hospital.
Amarnath's family alleged that Venkateswar, a 21-year-old man, had been harassing his sister and he had confronted Venkateswar over it.
Bapatla police officer Vakul Jindal told NDTV a murder case has been filed. Another case under the stringent POCSO Act has also been filed since the murdered student's sister, who was allegedly harassed by Venkateswar, is a minor.
Mr Jindal said they are questioning the accused.
