A photojournalist of a leading English daily was today electrocuted in Jhansi district while taking photographs of the water train parked in the railway yard.
Ravi Kanojia, 34, was clicking pictures of the train when he came in contact with a power line, police said in Lucknow.
He died on the spot.
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav condoled his death and announced financial assistance of Rs 20 lakh to his family.
