Congress President Sonia Gandhi is undergoing physiotherapy and rehabilitation at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital (SGRH). Although she is doing well, doctors plan to keep her under their watch for another two days.
According to SP Byotra, Vice Chairman (Board of Management ), SGRH, "Sonia Gandhi has been admitted again to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital for a minor treatment procedure as per previous plan. She is doing well and undergoing physiotherapy and rehabilitation."
Mrs Sonia had undergone a minor procedure for her back on Wednesday evening. Though authorities had earlier termed it a routine check up, hospital sources had told IANS that Mrs Gandhi was not keeping well ever since her discharge on Aug 14.
Mrs Gandhi was admitted to SGRH on August 3 afternoon after she fell ill during a rally at Varanasi. She was at SGRH for eleven days receiving treatment for a series of problems, including dehydration, fever and shoulder dislocation injury for which she even underwent a surgery.
Initially she was admitted to the Army Research and Referral Hospital.
