A 65-year-old pilgrim died today enroute to the Vaishno Devi shrine in Jammu and Kashmir's Reasi district.
Banaras Rao, a native of Bihar, was on his way to the shrine when he fell unconscious at Ardhkunwari Temple, police said.
He was taken to a hospital where doctors declared him brought dead, they said, adding the body will be handed over to the kin after legal formalities.
As per the initial reports, the man might have died due to heart attack, police added.
