New Delhi:
A nine-seater chartered aircraft with seven people on board crashed into a densely-populated residential colony in Faridabad on Wednesday night, killing ten people, including all seven on board.
Here is the timeline:
8.15 pm: Wednesday night a Swiss-made nine seater with 7 people on board including a critically ill patient takes-off from Patna for Delhi.
9.30 pm: The aircraft is given priority by Delhi Air Traffic Control
9:45 pm: The plane is given permission to land and asked descend to 1,100 ft. Plane vectored to land at runway 29 of the IGI airport
9.55 pm: The aircraft asked to hold at 1,100 feet as there are six other planes before it but the plane continues to descend, without heeding ATC instructions
10:15 pm: Ground Promity Warning goes off at Delhi ATC tower. ATC tries to warn pilot but gets no response, soon the plane vanishes from the radar
10.20 pm: Plane crash reported in a residential area of Faridabad
