New Delhi: In a display of bonhomie, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Mallikarjun Kharge, leader of the main opposition party shook hands after the heated debate on the Constitution inside the House.
"Dil mile na mile, hath toh mila hee sakte hain (We may have differences but we can still shake hands)," Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge quipped as he walked towards the treasury benches to shake hands with PM Modi.
The Prime Minister, while shaking hands with the Congress leader, was heard saying "we are wearing matching dresses".
Both the leaders were wearing white kurta pyjama and half-jacket.
During the two-day long debate in the Lok Sabha to commemorate the Constitution Day and the 125th birth anniversary of Dr B R Ambedkar, leaders from both the sides attacked each other on various issues.
