New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday extended full support to Bangladesh in its fight against terrorism in the wake of several terror attacks in that country.
PM Modi conveyed this when Bangladesh Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan called on him in New Delhi.
The Prime Minister reiterated India's commitment to support Bangladesh in fighting against terrorism, an official release said.
Mr Khan briefed the Prime Minister on the situation in Bangladesh and thanked him for India's support and solidarity.
The Prime Minister condoled the loss of lives in the recent terrorist attacks in Bangladesh.
Altogether 22 people, including an Indian girl, were killed in a terror attack at a cafe in Dhaka on July 1.

The Bangladesh Home Minister later met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh for a delegation level talks where both sides agreed to enhance cooperation on anti-terror efforts with Dhaka saying that New Delhi will be "side-by-side" with it in fighting terrorists.
