Ranchi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday expressed hope that the new Jharkhand Chief Secretary Rajbala Verma would bring further acceleration in the development works in state.
Ms Verma succeeded Rajiv Gauba on March 31 as the Chief Secretary of the state.
Congratulating her on taking over the charges as Chief Secretary, PM Modi expressed hope she would further speed up the development works.
Ms Verma was present during the Prime Minister's programme at Jamshedpur on Sunday.
