PM Modi Has: Rs 4,700 Cash-In-Hand, No Bank Account In Delhi
The PM does not own a car or have a bank account in Delhi.
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi's assets are today worth about 1.4 crores, with a residential property in his home state of Gujarat at the centerpiece. The plot of land has appreciated by more than 25 times since it was bought in 2002.

The details of the PM's assets have been released on his office's website.

The PM does not own a car or have a bank account in Delhi. He also has no loans. His "cash in hand" or bank balance is Rs 4,700 - in August last year, he had Rs 38,700.

His assets include "four pieces of gold rings" weighing approximately 45 grams with a value of about 1.20 lakhs as on March 31, 2015.

His investments include Larsen and Toubro Infra Bonds (Tax Saving) worth Rs 20,000 and life insurance policies worth nearly two lakhs.
