Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and his predecessor Lalu Prasad were among the galaxy of leaders who attended a reception to celebrate the wedding of Finance Minister Arun Jaitley's daughter Sonali to businessman Jaiyesh.
However, neither Mr Kumar nor Lalu Prasad had an occasion to interact with PM Modi.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandra Babu Naidu, JD-U chief Sharad Yadav and Congress leaders Anand Sharma, Kamal Nath, Sushil Kumar Shinde, Sheila Dikshit and Rajiv Shukla also attended the luncheon-reception at Mr Jaitley's residence.
Union ministers, industrialists, bureaucrats and Governors Kalyan Singh, Balram Tandon, OP Kohli, Kaptan Singh Solanki, Tathagata Roy and Shanmuganathan.
