New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today greeted the people of Seychelles on the occasion of their National Day.
PM Modi took to Twitter and said that India and Seychelles enjoy a "special relationship".
"My dearest sisters and brothers of Seychelles, on your National Day, I convey my warmest greetings and best wishes. India and Seychelles enjoy a relationship that is special, characterised by tremendous goodwill. Seychelles is a vital and valued partner in the Indian Ocean region," PM Modi said.
"I warmly recall my visit to your nation in March, during which we agreed to deepen our cooperation in a wide range of areas. I am confident that our ties will become much stronger in years to come," PM Modi said.
