New Delhi:
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will go ahead with his visit later this month to Brussels, which was rocked this morning by multiple explosions that have killed at least 21 people and injured many more.
The Prime Minister will visits Brussels in Belgium on March 30 for an India-European Union Summit, said foreign ministry spokesperson Vikas Swarup.
Belgium, Mr Sarup said, is India's second largest trade partner in Europe.
From Brussels, PM Modi will go to Washington in the US and will then visit Riyadh in Saudi Arabia, the spokesperson said.
Mr Swarup confirmed that there are no Indian casualties in the Brussels terror attacks today.
PM Modi has condemned the Brussels terror attacks in a tweet. "News from Brussels is disturbing. The attacks are condemnable. Condolences to families of the deceased. May those injured recover quickly," he said.
Two massive explosions that shattered Belgium's Zaventem airport, were followed on Tuesday by a blast in a train at a metro station.
Belgium PM Charles Michael said Brussels has been hit by "blind, violent, cowardly attacks."
The terror attacks some four days after the arrest in Brussels of Salah Abdeslam, the prime surviving suspect of November's attacks in Paris in which 130 people were killed.
