PM Modi brought his own lunch to a meeting of BJP workers at Varanasi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi brought his own lunch to a public meeting that he addressed on Thursday at his constituency Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh, where elections will be held soon. Posting on social media an image of the Prime Minister sharing a meal with party men, the BJP commented: "Such equality is possible only in BJP".
PM Modi addressed thousands of BJP workers at a large ground in the temple city. Everyone was reportedly asked to "bring their own tiffin". The Prime Minister reportedly said he had also brought his own food, since "I am a karyakarta (party worker) too".
One tweet suggested that many brought lunch for the Prime Minister, but he decided to pack his own.
Around 26,000 BJP workers attended the meeting.
PM Modi reportedly urged workers to relay the positive impact of the government's notes ban decision to people and spread awareness about mobile banking. The people, he reportedly told the workers, are with the government on demonetization to fight black or untaxed money.
While addressing the meeting, PM Modi hit out at the Congress and its top leaders including Rahul Gandhi, who has accused him of corruption.
