New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today congratulated Kailash Satyarthi and Malala Yousafzai who received the Nobel Peace Prize for 2014 in Oslo.

"I also congratulate the young Malala Yousafzai for the momentous achievement," PM Modi tweeted soon after the awards were conferred.
Mr Satyarthi, an activist working against child labour, was awarded the Nobel prize while the Pakistani teen bagged the award for her activism to promote female education.
