Prime Minister Narendra Modi today greeted his predecessor Manmohan Singh on the former premier's 82nd birthday.
Mr Modi who is in Frankfurt, en route to the US, in a message to Mr Singh said, "Best wishes and warm greetings to Dr Manmohan Singh ji on his birthday. May he be blessed with a long life and good health".
Mr Modi is scheduled to arrive in New York today on his maiden US visit where he will address the UN General Assembly and meet President Barack Obama in Washington.
