New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today greeted the nation on Guru Nanak Jayanti and underlined the message of harmony and compassion.
"On Guru Nanak Jayanti, my greetings to everyone. Guru Nanak Dev's message of service, compassion and harmony inspire eternally," PM Modi tweeted.
PM's message assumes significance in view of intolerance debate, which was further fueled by film star Aamir Khan's remarks that he was "alarmed" by a number of incidences and his wife Kiran Rao had wondered if they should move out of India.
