Prime Minister Narendra Modi today thanked Chinese President Xi Jinping for greeting him on his 65th birthday and said he looks forward to work with him for strengthening Sino-India relations.
"I thank President Xi Jinping for his kind wishes on my birthday. I warmly recall my meetings with him and look forward to working with him to further strengthen India-China ties," Mr Modi said in his message on the Chinese microblog Weibo.
Mr Modi has opened the microblog account on Sina Weibo during his visit to China in May this year and has several thousand followers.
