Sachin Tendulkar, Viswanathan Anand To Join PM On 'Mann Ki Baat' Today

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said his Mann ki Baat' radio programme today, which he will address together with chess champion Viswanathan Anand and cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, will focus on "India's youth".

Ahead of the radio broadcast of the 17th edition of 'Mann Ki Baat', PM Modi tweeted the programme today "is devoted to our future, India's youth who will take our nation to newer heights in the coming years".

The radio address will also include advise and tips to students, who are preparing for board exams,  from "eminent individuals".
In his tweet yesterday, PM had requested his "young friends" to tune in to this edition of radio programme that will also include tips to cope with stress and other issues while preparing for board exams.
The Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) board exams for 12th class will be held from March1 to April 22, 2016 and for 10th class will be held from March1 to March 28, 2016.

Wishing students for the board exams, Cricketer Sachin Tendulkar also tweeted:  
 
'Mann Ki Baat' programme has been initiated with an aim to reach out to people in remote corners of the country. PM Modi has in the past shared his thoughts on a range of issues including drug addiction, farmers problems, corruption, declining sex ratio,in the programme.

The broadcast shall be originated by All India Radio, Delhi and shall be relayed by all AIR stations, all AIR FM channels (FM Gold and FM Rainbow), local radio stations, Vividh Bharati Stations and five community radio stations, a statement released by Prasar Bharati said.

The regional versions of the 'Mann Ki Baat' will be originated by the capital AIR stations in non-Hindi speaking zones at 8 pm today.
