Mumbai: Prime Minister Narendra Modi would be visiting the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) in Mumbai Today.
Mr Modi is likely to be briefed on the development of the Indian Pressurised Water Reactor, large scale accelerators, Indian Neutrino Observatory and large size nuclear recycle plants during his visit, a state government official said.
The Prime Minister would interact with the scientists of Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) and BARC during his visit.
Mr Modi would land in Mumbai from Delhi in the afternoon and return to the national capital after BARC visit in the evening. There is no other programme scheduled, sources said, adding that the BARC event would not be open to the media.
This will be Narendra Modi's first visit to Mumbai after becoming the Prime Minister.
