PM Resorts To 'Jumlebazi' To Divert Attention From Core Issues: Kanhaiya Kumar

Kanhaiya Kumar said, "When we talk against (PM) Modi, we are labelled as traitors."

Lucknow: Kanhaiya Kumar, former JNU students union president, today attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying he resorts to 'jumlebazi' (false promises) to divert the attention from core issues.

"Acche Din and bringing back black money issues are mere 'jumlebazi'. This is done to divert attention from core issues. The society cannot be benefited till politics of vote bank is pursued," Mr Kumar, All India Students Federation (AISF) leader, said at an event.

"When we talk against (PM) Modi, we are labelled as traitors," Mr Kumar said.

He said "division" of society on the basis of caste and creed should be stopped.

"Raising issues of love jihad, ghar vapasi and beef will not help. Attempts should be made to eradicate poverty and unemployment. No alternatives should not be found in politics but politics of alternatives should be done," he said.
