President Pranab Mukherjee today condemned terror strike on a police station in Kathua district of Jammu region.
Expressing condolence to the grieving families of those who lost their lives in the attack, the President called upon security forces to remain vigilant against any "threat to the peace, prosperity and security of our nation."
President Mukherjee also prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.
Early on Friday morning, two terrorists dressed in Indian Army uniform stormed a police station in Kathua, killing four people.
Both the terrorists were also killed in a fierce gun battle that lasted for six hours.
