President Pranab Mukherjee will visit Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra from December 27 to 28.
The president will inaugurate the 37th Indian Social Science Congress-2013 at Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh on December 27, said a press release from the President's House.
In Maharashtra, he will inaugurate the 66th annual session of Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers (IIChE), CHEMCON 2013 at Institute of Chemical Technology in Mumbai on December 27.
The president will also inaugurate the 10th World Zoroastrian Congress at National Sports Club of India, Worli the same day.
On December 28, Mr Mukherjee will unveil the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj at Thane.
He will also inaugurate the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of the Tribal Research and Training Institute at Pune.
The statue of Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj at All India Shri Shivaji Memorial Society, Pune will also be unveiled by him the same day.
He will reach Rashtrapati Nilayam, Secunderabad December 28.
