President Pranab Mukherjee will deliver a speech at the concluding function of 125th birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru scheduled in the city on Sunday.
Co-organised by the Bidhan Memorial Trust and now defunct 'Pandit Jawarharlal Nehru 125th Birth Anniversary Celebration Preparatory Committee', the concluding programme will also see the presence of West Bengal Governor Keshari Nath Tripathi at the Calcutta University Centenary Hall, Congress leader and Chairman of the Trust Somen Mitra today said.
The celebrations, which started last year, witnessed several seminars on Nehru, sit and draw competition and cultural events participated by children.
