Press Information Bureau Officers To Get Lessons On Using Facebook

New Delhi: In line with the Centre's focus on social media, Press Information Bureau (PIB) is organising a special workshop to train officials on effective use of 'Facebook' for government comminication.

Officials said that the workshop will be held today where PIB officials, who work to highlight the government's programmes and initiatives, will be taught how Facebook can be used more effectively for communication outreach.

Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Rajyavardhan Rathore will inaugurate the workshop today at National Media Centre.

The workshop is a joint endeavuor of PIB, New Media Cell of I&B Ministry and Facebook.
