PM Narendra Modi's Menu in Shanghai Includes Chilled Mango Sago Cream and Stewed Porcini

Shanghai: Prime Minister Narendra Modi was hosted in Shanghai for a banquet, during which delectable dishes including stewed porcini, sauteed asparagus and lotus seed and chilled mango sago cream and fresh fruits, were served.

Mr Modi was hosted for a banquet by Chinese Communist Party's Shanghai Secretary Han Zheng, during which the vegetarian dishes were served.

Mr Modi is a strict vegetarian.

Vikas Swarup, the official spokesperson of the Ministry of External Affairs, tweeted:
