According to a release, France's Defence Minister briefed PM Modi on bilateral defence cooperation

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Saturday that defence cooperation is one of the key pillars of strategic partnership between India and France and called for greater cooperation under 'Make in India programme in defence manufacturing.
PM Modi, who met France's Defence Minister Florence Parly, discussed regional and global issues of mutual interest.
An official release said that Mr Parly briefed the Prime Minister about developments in bilateral defence cooperation.
"The Prime Minister said that defence cooperation is one of the key pillars of the Strategic Partnership between India and France and called for greater cooperation in the 'Make in India' framework in defence manufacturing and joint research and development," the release said.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said he looks forward to receiving French President Emmanuel Macron in India at his earliest convenience.
