Patiala, Punjab: Heir to the British throne, Prince Charles, and his wife Camilla are likely to visit the city next month when they will be in India for the Commonwealth Games.
The British royals will visit New Moti Bagh Palace of former Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh after the inauguration ceremony of the Games in Delhi.
The Palace sources said on Thursday that the royal couple will be on a private visit and be hosted by Amarinder Singh, who himself is from the erstwhile royal family of Patiala state, and his wife Preneet Kaur, who is also Minister of State for External Affairs.
The arrangements are already underway in view of their visit.
