New Delhi: Priyanka Gandhi Vadra's son Raihan today caused a flutter in Parliament as he watched house proceedings from the visitors' gallery of the Lok Sabha.
Marking the first such visit by the fifth generation of the Nehru-Gandhi family, Raihan, 13, sat with three friends, sporting a jacket and a Mohican, in the gallery facing the Speaker's chair.
When NDTV asked him whether he was here for a school project, he said no. He also said he liked what he saw.
Raihan watched grandmother Sonia Gandhi in the house, but he didn't get to see his uncle Rahul, who was not present at the time.
He finished off his tour with a visit to the Congress parliamentary party office in the historic Parliament building in the heart of Delhi.
Priyanka Gandhi, 42, has often taken her children Raihan and Miraya along while campaigning in Rae Bareli and Amethi, the constituencies of her mother Sonia and brother Rahul in Uttar Pradesh.
