New Delhi: BJP lawmaker Maheish Girri, whose complaint against Rahul Gandhi on his alleged "dual citizenship" has been forwarded to Ethics Committee of Parliament by Speaker Sumitra Mahajan, today said the issue needs to be investigated on priority and without prejudice as no person is above the Constitution.
"Many contradictory facts against Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi have come up. There is a big mystery over Rahul Gandhi's citizenship now. If he is a citizen of two countries, then it's a matter of serious concern," Mr Girri said in a statement here, adding it is "very important to clear the speculations hovering" over him.
