New Delhi: The Supreme Court will hear Himanshu Sabharwal's petition challenging the acquittal of all accused in Ujjain Professor HS Sabharwal's murder case.
Professor H S Sabharwal had died of a heart failure after being beaten by Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad activists in an Ujjain College in 2006.
The SC had in 2008 transferred the proceedings from an Ujjain court to Nagpur after accepting himanshu's apprehension that fair trial was not possible in Madhya Pradesh as it was ruled by ABVP's parent political party BJP.
