One man was killed and another injured in police firing during protests in Baramulla in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday.
The police allegedly opened fire during clashes with protesters marking the death of Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru, who was hanged on February 9, 2013.
The policeman who shot the protester is being questioned, and a case has been registered.
The police called it a "highly regrettable and unfortunate incident."
