Srinagar:

The strike in Kashmir valley over the alleged rape and murder of two young women continued for the seventh day on Sunday.

There's an undeclared curfew in several parts of Srinagar. A separatist women's organisation has asked women to assemble in Srinagar's Eidgah at noon to join in the protests.

Syed Ali Shah Geelani, the chairman of the hardline faction of the Hurriyat, who has called for the strike, had been arrested on charges of  inciting people to protest and hold demonstrations.

Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abudllah had ordered a judicial probe last week. The inquest report findings are expected on Sunday.
