The trailer of
Qaidi Band, starring
Aadar Jain, grandson of late actor-filmmaker Raj Kapoor, was unveiled by the makers of the film today. The three-minute trailer shows how seven under-trials look for ways to earn some money inside the prison. An announcement is made that a grand show will be organized by the jail authorities on Independence Day and orchestra will be made to perform. Preparations begin for the event and Sanjay (Aadar) and Bindu (Anya) are asked to sing a duet. Music becomes the only hope for freedom for these seven under-trials. However, there is an intriguing twist ahead of their release from the prison.
Qaidi Band, which is inspired by real life stories, has been directed by directed by Habib Faisal.

Aadar Jain and Anya Singh were introduced by
Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma at event hosted by Yash Raj Films (YRF) in Mumbai on July 5.
Aadar Jain will be the fifth Kapoor of his generation to enter the film industry. His cousins Karisma, Kareena and Ranbir Kapoor are renowned actors. His elder brother Armaan Jain made his acting debut in 2014 with
Lekar Hum Deewana Dil. However, his film flopped at the box office.
The official handle of Yash Raj Films put out a series of tweets to introduce Aadar Jain and Anya Singh. "My grandfather is a legend. I am just an aspiring actor," read the caption of Aadar's poster.
Yash Raj Films previously launched actors like Anushka Sharma, Bhumi Pednekar, Vaani Kapoor and Ranveer Singh.
