Patna: After the personal war of words between Maneka Gandhi and Mayawati, now comes an attack by Rabri Devi on Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
Bihar's leader of Opposition Rabri Devi has targeted the Chief Minister with comments he has taken very personally.
"Who is Lallan Singh? He is Nitish Kumar's brother-in-law. Everyone knows this. I say this openly. This is why Nitish Kumar holds Lallan Singh's hand all the time whether they are in a meeting or a rally," Rabri said.
These remarks by Rabri Devi seem to have given the Bihar Chief Minister another election issue against the RJD. The JD(U) leadership has reacted angrily complaining to the State Election Commission against Rabri Devi.
"What has been said doesn't deserve a reaction. When someone is frustrated they end up saying such baseless things, that's all," Nitish said.
But Rabri does not seem worried. She is going about her business as usual.
"I am going to Jamui, should I go hide in a rat hole there?" she said.
Bihar is now waiting for the Election Commission's reaction on Monday when it will look into this latest war of words in these elections.
