Rahul Gandhi Addresses Farmers in Andhra Pradesh: Highlights

Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi today began his 10 km-long 'padyatra' from a village in the district to highlight the issues faced by farmers and women Self-Help Groups.

• The Congress party took a stand in the Parliament and we decided that we won't let the PM take away the land of famers of this country
• Speaks on protecting rights of farmers and also labourers in Land Bill
• Attacks Chandrababu Naidu's TDP and YSR Congress saying they are not taking to the streets demanding special status for Andhra Pradesh
• The way PM wanted to take away farmers' land,he wants to take away Special Category Status and Polavaram project from the people of this state
• I can understand the intentions of the PM, but I don't understand the intentions of the Chief Minister of this state and the other party
• Why are these two parties not fighting for the special status? Why are these two parties not fighting for Polavaram?
