Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi today slammed the Modi government and the RSS while addressing a National Students' Union Of India (NSUI) convention in New Delhi. Referring to a meeting between PM Modi and former PM Manmohan Singh last evening, Mr Gandhi said, Mr Modi took a lesson from Dr Singh on how to run the economy.

- Different voices can be heard in the meetings
- The Congress party believes in discipline, but I have understood the reality slowly in the last 10 years
- Earlier, I would wonder why there was no order. Now, I understand why
- Our organisation wants to hear every voice. It's in our DNA. Our strength

- Discipline is a way of killing individuality. That is what others (BJP) think
- We say you should talk about everything. They say you cannot talk about Telangana or anything else
- PM went to China, France, Nepal and even Mongolia, but he didn't visit any farmer or labourer
- They said they will bring back black money in 100 days. One year has gone past, but black money hasn't come yet
- Country is run by RSS' ideology
- RSS does not allow for debate or dialogue, discipline is used as excuse to suppress individuality
- Wherever they want to impose RSS ideology, you stop them
- PM Modi wants to go all the Mongolia, but does not go to a farmer's home
- PM Modi says education is important, but does not want to spend on education
- PM invited Dr Manmohan Singh for an hour-long lesson on the economy
