Rahul Gandhi crosses security cordon to enter hut
Jehanabad, Bihar: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi once again broke through the SPG security cordon and interacted with family members of a vendor in a hut before his election rally at a ground here.

On his arrival from Hisua in Nawada by a helicopter yesterday, Gandhi drove to the main gate of the venue and on seeing a 'sattu' vendor went inside his hut, sending his SPG personnel into a tizzy.

The SPG men faced a hard time tackling a curious crowd of people who rushed to see the Amethi MP.

Gandhi exchanged pleasantries with those present, including a small girl and other family members, shook hand with the sattu seller and himself took down their names.

Gandhi, while addressing the gathering later, utilized the opportunity to attack his political opponents for castigating him for visiting village huts.

"They call me bacha for visiting the houses of poor...but with all humility I will like to tell them I am not a bacha (child)", he said.

"During the past five years I am engaging in knowing about the welfare of rural poor as India can't progress as long as they don't progress and their miseries mitigated", he said.
