Lucknow:
Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi will have a "direct" dialogue with the party's booth-level workers and hand over a memorandum to Governor Ram Naik on the prevailing situation in Uttar Pradesh on July 29.
He will hold "one-on-one" interactions with workers and office-bearers of the party during the 'UP Udghosh' programme at the sprawling Ramabai Ambedkar maidan regarding the party organisation in view of the 2017 Assembly polls in Uttar Pradesh, said a Congress spokesman today, adding that those interested would have to register beforehand to get a chance for an interaction with Mr Gandhi.
After interacting with party workers, the Amethi lawmaker will lead a march to Raj Bhawan where he will hand over the memorandum to the Governor, he said.
About 50,000 Congress office-bearers and workers will take part in the interactive session with Mr Gandhi, he said, adding that "all-out" preparations were being made to make the programme a success.
