New Delhi: After Mr Raja was arrested, the BJP's Arun Jaitley says that Raja's arrest proves that the PM did not act when needed against a member of his Cabinet.
Mr Jaitley also said that Mr Raja's arrest proves that new Telecom minister Kapil Sibal was incorrect when he recently said that there were no losses caused by the process of 2G allocation followed by Mr Raja during his tenure.
The CBI, like Mr Sibal, believes that the government's auditor has miscalculated the 2G scam to be worth 1.76 lakh crores.
