After Jaswant Singh's expulsion, will Vasundhara Raje fall in line and step down as Leader of Opposition in Rajasthan?
The former Rajasthan chief minister, Vasundhara Raje, who has so far dug her heels in, is finally expected to meet Lal Krishna Advani and Rajnath Singh in the capital on Friday.
The party had asked Raje to step down, a directive aimed at ending the factionalism and infighting in the Rajasthan state unit, as much as it was to reprimand Raje for her failure to lead the party in the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections.
But what does BJP have in store for Raje? Particularly after the way the party expelled Jaswant, it will be closely watched. Will Raje be shown the door like Jaswant or let off with a final warning?
