Ramdev empire declares balance sheets

Haridwar: As promised, Baba Ramdev has begun declaring the financial details of his business empire, whose turnover runs into thousands of crores.

The yoga teacher has been accused of financial malpractices by his critics, including Congress leader Digvijaya Singh, who has described the yoga icon as a "thug" who "cheated the government."

The Baba has collided with the government over his indefinite hunger fast against the government's alleged inertia in tackling corruption and black money.
