Patna: Venting their anger against actor Salman Khan for having lunch and flying kites with Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, Ramvilas Paswan's LJP workers today labelled him as a "traitor" and organised a protest march.
Describing Mr Khan as "kaum ke gaddar" (traitor of the community), workers of Patna district LJP unit took out a protest march and burnt an effigy of the star.
The protestors with many of them wearing skull caps also trampled photographs of the actor under their feet.
The actor, who said he had gone to the state to promote his new film "Jai Ho", lauded Mr Modi for development in Gujarat, but steered clear of publicly endorsing him as the future prime minister, saying "the best man should become the PM".
