Mathura:
Former Mathura lawmaker and RLD leader Jayant Chaudhary was returned to Delhi on Thursday after he fell on the stage and got unconscious while addressing a meeting at a village in Mathura, party sources said.
Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) spokesperson in Mathura Pawan Chaturvedi said, Mr Chaudhary fell on the stage shortly after he stood up to address the audience at Mandi Samiti in Kosikalan village.
Mr Chaudhary had a 1.5-hour road show in an open jeep followed by a 16 km pad-yatra. He then went straight for the public meeting. He was severely dehydrated and had a dizzy spell while he was addressing the gathering.
In his 16-km pad-yatra from Kotwan to Kosikalan village on the Haryana border, he raised the issues concerning farmers.
