New Delhi:
A report in the Indian Express says that as part of an army inquiry against former Army Chief General VK Singh, officers have testified that about a crore of military intelligence funds were paid to a minister in Kashmir to destabilise Omar Abdullah's government. General Singh has denied the allegation.
Below is a statement from Defence Minister AK Antony on the issue:
Government has received a report from the Army HQ on certain issues relating to one of its 'outfits' as reported by a section of the media today.
