Release the passengers, we can talk: Mamata

New Delhi: As the Delhi-Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Express continues to be stalled, Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee has appealed the Naxals, who have reportedly stopped the train to come for talks.

"As Railway minister, I am worried about passengers. I appeal those who have done this to release the passengers, we can talk," she said.

It's dark, we are worried about passengers' security, Mamata added.

The Railway Minister also said that she has no information who has done this.

At the same time, she slammed the West Bengal government, saying, "This is a law an order problem and they are responsible for it."

Passengers have nothing to do with this

Giving details about the operation going on, Mamata said: "We are functioning like an emergency unit. I can assure that we are taking care of everything, as much as we can."

She also said that the driver is safe now and they are continuously monitoring the situation.
