Repolling at one polling booth in Kokrajhar of Assam was conducted on Sunday peacefully with 88.15 per cent of the voters exercising their franchise.
Repolling was necessitated at number 24 Kachugaon ME School (right side) under Gossaigaon constituency as the electronic voting machine malfunctioned during the second phase of polling on April 11.
Election official said repolling was completed peacefully and 88.15 per cent voting was recorded.
While 90.05 per cent males casted their votes, female voting percentage stood at 86.05 per cent.
