
Srinagar:
Five people, including two policemen, were injured as protesters clashed with the police in Srinagar today.
Protests broke out after reports that Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) leader Yasin Malik was beaten in Ajmer, allegedly by BJP activists.
The protesters resorted to pelting policemen with stones in the Maisuma area of Srinagar.
The police lobbed teargas shells to disperse them.
Around 30 protesters were also arrested.
