Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, his Cabinet colleagues and other leaders today paid tributes to former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao on his 10th death anniversary.
Rao and others visited the PV Ghat near the Hussain Sagar lake here and offered homage to the late leader.
Rao's family members and other others were present and special prayers were conducted on the occasion.
The Telangana government had officially celebrated Rao's birth anniversary on June 28 this year.
Born in Karimnagar district of present day Telangana in 1921, PV Narasimha Rao served as Prime Minister of the country from 1991-1996.
Rao is hailed as the architect of economic liberalization in the country and a scholar.
