Businessman Robert Vadra wished his wife and Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on their “silver anniversary” on Friday. Sharing a set of happy pictures, he said the 25 years of togetherness has made “us grow as one”.
Mr Vadra also said their understanding of each other, full of love and respect, couldn't have been better.
“Happy silver anniversary, P… 25 years of togetherness has made us grow as one. Our understanding of each other couldn't have been better..Full of love, respect and strength. Looking forward to many years of happiness and helping achieve all our goals together,” Mr Vadra wrote on Twitter.
Mr Vadra, 53, and Priyanka Gandhi, 50, got married on February 18, 1997. They are parents to Miraya and Raihan.
The couple often writes notes for each other on special occasions. On their 23rd wedding anniversary, Priyanka Gandhi had shared a social media post on "a million beautiful moments".
“A million beautiful moments, love, tears, laughter, fury, friendship, family, two gifts from God, four unmatched canine fans and the irreplaceably tenacious wisdom of a lifetime together.... 6+23 years....29 years today....and forever,” she wrote.
Meanwhile, Priyanka Gandhi has been busy campaigning for assembly elections in five states. She is the Congress general secretary in-charge of UP.
Uttar Pradesh will vote for the third phase on February 20. The polls to the 403-member assembly are being held in seven phases. The first two phases were held on February 10 and 14. The results will be declared on March 7.
Priyanka Gandhi was also spotted campaigning in Punjab. The state will vote in a single phase on February 20.
